Zeal Engineering Consultants (Pty) Ltd, was appointed to implement engineering consulting service for Amacwera 2 x 20 MVA Substation 132kV & 22kV Lines to determine preparedness of distribution provinces and assist in execution of the 2016/17 electrification program as well as prepare for the 2017/2018 program on behalf of Eskom Eastern Cape Operating Unit.

The scope of work comprised the following;
 

• Output 1 – Determining the status of the 2016-17 rural electrification program and Eskom’s readiness to deliver on the set targets.

• Output 2 – Project Engineering and Design where the project package is incomplete, of poor quality or delayed.

​

• Output 3 – Project management service during the execution phase of the project.
